My client is part of a highly world company specialising in geotechnical surveys & non oilfied drilling. They are fast becoming one of the biggest names in their field - if you are currently in this sector you will know who they are - well respected, successful and ambitious. Due to a full order book for the next two years they are looking for a highly capable hydraulics design engineer - NOT draughtsman to join the head office design team.

A degree or HND in Engineering (in a relevant discipline) is essential. In addition, we?ll be looking for a successful track record in the design and analysis of heavy mechanical equipment. Along with sound experience of project management in an OEM or engineering consultancy, you?ll need 2D and 3D CAD software knowledge (SolidWorks & AutoCAD) and experience of manufacturing systems and techniques in a related industry. Ideally, you?ll have Chartered Engineer status in a relevant discipline and a thorough understanding of engineering analysis software.
