Base Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience
Commission: Uncapped OTE

Summary
The management team at a fresh and funky new advertisement publication are looking for an account sales executive to develop new business and sell advertising space within the pages of the magazine to local and regional clients in the London area. The development of strong client relationships are key. The future incumbent will report directly to the Sales Director.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
 To secure new business and identify new opportunities in sales region
 Exceed activity and revenue targets by maximizing every sales opportunity
 Act as a central point of contact for key clients
 Generating, covering and following up leads
 Making the sale through a combination of face-to-face and telephone sales (with an emphasis on face-to-face)

Experience/Skills Required
 Able to demonstrate sales propositions and show prospects the value of the publication’s services
 Flexible and imaginative approach to the challenges of reaching an industry-wide prospect base
 Preferably with a demonstrable media sales experience but will see CV’s from other areas
 Experience of achieving challenging sales revenue targets
 Experience and/or knowledge of the food industry would be beneficial but not essential
 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
 Strong desire for progression encompassed by a entrepreneurial spirit
 Ability to work autonomously
 Innovative
 Great presentation skills
