EFL hosting teachers

Our language students come and stay in the UK to learn English intensively through immersion for one or two weeks at a time.

We are looking for qualified efl hosting teachers to provide a warm welcome through a pleasant programme of cultural social or sporty activities depending on your style and a thorough and efficient tuition programme.

Preferably, you must be degree qualified and hold a CELTA certificate, but other equivalent qualifications will be considered (TESOL, QTS). Your home must have at least three members, and be highly comfortable clean and tidy. All members of the family must be cooperative and take part in the warm welcome given to the student, you must be Anglophone. This work is ideal for people who need to be home, even just from time to time, for example, school teachers could host during school holidays only, or for someone who does supply teaching work and can block a week off here and there. This work is on a freelance basis.

Although this work is intermittent throughout the year, summer months are busiest and all host families must be available in July which is our busiest month.
